The first perfume from Victor & Rolf, Flowerbomb, is a floral explosion and a profusion of flowers. The base of the perfume is patchouli with a complicated blend of flowers that includes ballerina freesia, sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and osmanthus bloom. This is a very sophisticated scent for the elegant, feminine, and passionate romantic.
There are three levels of perfume notes in a fragrance. The top note is the initial impression and wears off within five minutes. My first impression was distinctively the patchouli base. The middle and base notes in a fragrance emerge ten to fifteen minutes later. On my skin, the parfum left a bouquet of rose and patchouli. The woman that would wear this floral fragrance would be a confident and classy woman dressed in haute couture and spotted sipping a mimosa at a formal garden party.
Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum is a full-bodied fragrance and with 20 percent perfume oil, this scent should last five to six hours, enough to attend a garden party and dinner at the country club.
