Beauty Product Review: THEVI Cosmetics for The New Ethnic Market

WHO IS THE THEVI WOMAN?

She represents the New Ethnic Market. She is every light-to-dark skinned woman of Asian, South Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean descent. Sophisticated. Educated. With a multi-faceted lifestyle. Usually first generation American, she holds to the traditions of her family and her ethnic roots, often has close ties to the cultural diversity of other ethnic communities, while being deeply involved with the modern American lifestyle. She may require a collection of cosmetic colors that are rich and vibrant without being harsh.

Thevaki Thambirajah, with roots that reach deep into the Indian sub-continent, is both the beauty and brains behind the THEVI collection. She created a modern and sophisticated palette not only for herself but for other ethnic women as well.

Here are the swatches on my very pale skin. As you can see, the automatic long-lasting lip liner in Garnet and Heather and the High Impact Lipstick Plush are deep and worldly -- perfect shades to complement any woman who loves rich colors, but especially olive-skinned or darker-skinned women. All three products are very long-lasting. I had to use makeup remover to remove the color from my arm.picture of THEVI garnet and heather lip liner and Thevi Lipstick in plush swatches on a pale arm
