Beauty Product Review: The Body Shop's Nature's Minerals

Is Nature's Mineral Makeup a trick or treat?

If you are a woman of any age who wants a foundation that provides light to medium coverage, sun protection, anti-aging light diffusing properties to disguise those pesky fine lines, then The Body Shop's NEW mineral makeup might be your Halloween treat.  Take off your heavy foundation mask and give Nature's Minerals a test-drive.

Having been a tinted moisturizer gal for longer shorter than the 2008 presidential campaign -- we are counting down the days  -- I was leery that mineral makeup would be too dry for my skin.  Remember, I'm the Mother Blogger of this duo:  Dry Skin is my middle name.

After dipping, shaking, and dusting my face with the foundation, I was more than satisfied with the soft and natural veil. (It's important to note that using the right brush is critical to the application process.) The blush created just a flush of color, and the Platinum Shimmer eyeshadow didn't bivouac in my eye creases.

If you are a woman who suffers from acne, rosacea, or has sensitive skin, mineral makeup is a good choice.  Known for its anti-inflammatory benefits, it also provides safe coverage post-operatively after laser treatments or microdermabrasion.

At a budget-friendly price point, The Body Shop's Natures Minerals is a real treat!

I just tried this mineral makeup line yesterday and have to agree, it's a wonderful mineral foundation! One of the best mineral makeup lines I have tried.

And don't forget to use a good moisturizer or primer prior to application and a high quality kabuki brush!
